ICIP 2007 Proceedings CDROM
HTML Interface
An Author Index and a Session Index are included in HTML format on this CDROM
to aide you in finding particular conference papers. Start by opening the file
'ICIP2007.html' which is located in the root directory. From this page,
you can link to the author index, the session index, the people involved,
and this help file.
PDF Interface The PDF interface can be accessed by opening the file
'ICIP2007.pdf', which can be found in the root directory of the CDROM. This
PDF file will allow you to access the session index, author index, welcome
letter, and other information. To use the PDF interface,
you must use Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or above. Acrobat reader software may
be downloaded from Adobe's web site at: http://www.adobe.com
Searching for Keywords An Adobe Acrobat search index has been included on this
CDROM to allow text- searching of the conference papers. To use the search
index, you must be using an installation of Acrobat Reader that includes the
search utility. If you do not have a version of Acrobat Reader including
search functionality, see the help section on Adobe Acrobat Reader above to
install the appropriate reader from Adobe Systems' website at www.adobe.com.
There are installers for Acrobat Reader for various platforms in the Adobe
folder on this CD-ROM. When installing with these applications, you may need to
customize your installation and explicitly specify that the Search tools are
installed, otherwise you will not be able to search the contents of the
proceedings.
The search index should automatically attach itself to your reader when you
open ICIP2007.pdf in the root directory of the CDROM. Once this PDF document
has been opened, you may search for keywords in all papers by using the Acrobat
Reader search tool (not the same as the find tool) by choosing Edit, Search,
then Query from the Acrobat Reader menu. The Adobe Acrobat Search dialogue box
that appears will allow you to specify your search criteria.
NOTE: The search index was created with Adobe Acrobat 6. Unfortunately,
Acrobat 5 is unable to read the Acrobat 6 search index. For best results,
please use Acrobat 6 or newer to search paper contents.
