Abstract
Over the past decade, with the continues growth of intelligence technology the Internet has became a very important part in modern education. Today's graduating electrical engineers need marketable skills which are typically developed in the classes by experimenting with communication devices in communication laboratories. Because of overloaded working day students often are not able to participate to the lab. The Internet based virtual laboratories can be alternative to the traditional hands-on laboratories. The virtual laboratories are successfully used by many universities for a several years. This paper describes an on-going program at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where the remote desktop technologies was used for the hardware based communication virtual laboratory creation.
