I am currently a Ph.D student at the University of Missouri, working at the Vision-Guided and Intelligent Robotics Lab. My research interests are in the areas of machine learning and pattern recognition applied to Robotic Assistive Technology. I have worked on systems and interfaces for controlling assistive technology devices such as power wheelchairs, using surface EMG signals, head motion, speech, etc. I have also worked on methods for detecting patterns in mixed signals, with applications in terahertz and assistive technology.
