2013 IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Scheduling (CISched)
Welcome to the 2013 IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Scheduling (CISched’2013) at the 2013 IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence (SSCI’2013) at Signapore! This is the 4th symposium on Computational Intelligence in Scheduling at IEEE SSCI, after CISched’07 at Hawaii, CISched’09 at Nashville, CISched’11 at Paris.
CISched aims to bring together world leading researchers and practitioners in all aspects of Computational Intelligence to a wide range of scheduling problems, which remain highly challenging in the current research. A significant amount of research effort has been made to explore evolutionary computation, neural networks, swarm intelligence, fuzzy logic, and their hybridizations, etc.
The programme of CISched’13 features 13 full papers representing the state-of-the-art research in scheduling. Problems concerned include production scheduling as well as a range of complex real world scheduling problems.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Programme Committee members who have worked very hard to review symposium submissions. Special thanks also to the Organising Committee which organized the series of symposium. We are also grateful to all authors and delegates.
On behalf of the CISched’2013 Programme Committee, we welcome you all to Singapore. We hope you enjoy your stay here!
